Why was the Conjuring Cinematic Universe (CCU) such a huge success while the DCU was such a flop?
Crazy that the Conjuring CU is the second most successful by profits.
I actually think that the ConjuringCU wouldn't be a bad template for the DCU.

But the idea that you couldn't make a great Constantine and Zatanna movie as a launch for a darker but still fun style CU is just crazy.

>>223198093I'm not some kind of horror elitist, I have my fair share of guilty pleasures in that genre (TCM 2, NoES 4 and 5, Halloween 2007, Jason X...), but what compels people to sctually watch these movies. I tried Annabelle, the two nun movies and another and I feel asleep in all of them. Even the Nightmare on Elm Street Reboot was more exciting than this.
