It was atmospheric but that atmosphere was boring. It also just turned into a normal monster movie at the end with a stupid looking nigger pirate. Only literal children thought this movie was scary or good.

Yeah, I never saw Obsession, but I asked around a lot about why exactly people seemed so pissy about it, and what I learned is that it was nothing. Nobody really knew why they were mad about it. Some people responded with some weak, half-assed reasons as to why, which sounded like regurgitations of things that they had heard from people who saw the movie, and that was it.

I went to see this movie on my birthday and they guy who sold me the ticket acted passive aggressive over the fact that I was going to see this and not Obsession. It was actually kind of funny.
