Would Hank really fall for the Y2K hysteria?
>>
>>223211610
Well he did so yes.
>>
>>223211610
He’d be Christian
>>
>>223211610
He did.
>>
>>223211610
Yes. Many otherwise rational and intelligent people did get a bit swept up in the panic. It's why I wasn't surprised that people went as nuts as they did during the beginning of covid, what really surprised me is how long the mass hysteria lasted.

I always thought it was weird how this was the last topical current event mentioned in the KOTH universe. They completely ignored 9/11 (not even Family Guy pretended it didn't happen) and kept Arlen in some sort of weird time-warp until like the FaceBook episode

Y2K was a real issue that was avoided because tons of people worked really hard to prevent it from having disastrous consequences. It is one of a handful of times that the reaction by people actually made things better.

Covid was a fucking meme disease that killed old people and fatties (aka people who deserved to die). Without media, most people would have said "man, I had a really bad flu that took me out for a couple days" and thought nothing of it after a month. Here is one of many instances where basically a non-event leads to a society-destroying response.

>A COMPUTER GETTING A DATE WRONG WAS GOING TO END THE WORLD! US NERDS SAVED HUMANITY!
>that new disease that we didn’t have any sort of defense against that was spreading like wildfire and killing random people was a meme, it didn’t kill me therefore it didn’t kill anyone
>>
>>223213071
Yes, stay mad
>>
>>223213071
Y2K was literally created by cheap corporations choosing to not let the dates on their old software factor in the change of date after 99. It was a legitimate problem made by a chosen lack of foresight. Covid was a manufactured problem to distract from Epstein and taken advantage of by broader powers to make more money and mass test a gene therapy on billions of people to stupid to question it

Hank would've gotten the jab

millennium bug was a lie lined with profiteers and cretins that didn't understand technology.
>>223213071
cretin
china flu was just that, a flu. made in a lab, deliberately released so they could push experimental tech and corner the pharmaceutical industry for decades to come, while enstating enslavement tech and unprecedented surveillance and control that will never go away and only become worse

>Paid sticker price for every car he bought
>>
>>223213119
Please explain why a wrong date on a computer was worse than a new strain of flu
>>
That's what hysteria is. He ended up behaving irrationally and out of character. If Dale, Bill or even Khan goes nuts then it's just Tuesday but when the stable people lose it the problem gets serious.

>>223211832
It's the right choice, not for moralfag reasons but the production can't keep up with current events unless you're making a show like South Park and even when it lands you immediately date the episode.

the whole point is that he is very naive in most episodes, and yes, he would fall for anything that is outside his field of experience, that's the reason why peggy fucks up everything so much, he gives her the benefit of the doubt way too much and treats every shit she says/does as an isolated event.
