General Blue's physical appearance was definitely Nazi inspired although he was an outlier, outside of him the Red Ribbon army wasn't particularly Nazi-coded.
Black military caps as part of an S&M ensemble have a long standing association with gays and are not necessarily a Nazi reference. Even Vito wore one.
I don't recall Stroheim saying he despised women. He definitely liked to sexually abuse them, the very first thing he did on screen was force a cute Mexican girl to lick his face while threatening to cut off her tongue.
Zorin Blitz doesn't use they/them pronouns. That doesn't even make sense in Japanese.
