The music is really good. The animation is great (not everyone's cup of tea, I get that.) The story is pretty meh but it's mostly for kids so I am not shocked they went with the simple story structure. "Liar revealed" is always a frustrating plot device as it's so overdone and I feel like friends who are so close they're like family would understand that someone would hide a negative part of themselves to avoid criticism, etc. But they always have to go through the lowest point where the friends turn on the protagonist, yadda yadda.Also making Gui Ma or whatever his name is just a big fire is dumb. He should have been a giant demon monster. I guess they just got lazy. Made the final act a lot less impactful.
