What are some comfy documentaries?
I love docs. I wonder what crumb thinks of his quiet French town he moved to now compared to when he moved there 20 years ago. Anyways I quite enjoyed pic related, dont let his personality turn you away immediately hes a deserved character who knew NYC when it was good
>>223226799Each time I see him in the modern day he seems to just discuss old music, which is pretty cool. I still think often about what's hammering in his head after his wife passed. He might have drawn something in relation to it, but I've never it. Can't imagine he took/is taking it well.
>>223226726Genuine adventure kino
Monster Camp (2007) is an incredibly comfy watch about a group of guys who volunteer to act as monsters in a defunct LARP group in the PNW

>>223226726r crumb was a man ahead of his time
>>223226726crumb is unironically a kino documentary. r. crumb is one of my favorite artists and his life story is legitimately deranged
>>223226726Obviously almost everything by Herzog fits that, but I would recommend especially:The Fire Within: A Requiem for Katia and Maurice KrafftGhost ElephantsWheel of Time 2003 (this one is peak comfy)But I really want to watch The Atomic Rocketeer, but it's some kind of screening only bullshit.A documentary about von Braun must be kino.
