Films should only have sex in them if it advances the plot or has a symbolic nature. I can only recall of one film that used sex by my standard: American Me (1992). In a scene, the male protagonist is having sex with a woman with consent. But during the act, he anally rapes her because he was somewhat recently released from prison. He may be out of the cage, but his mind is still imprisoned. Most other sex scenes in various other films are akin to anime fan service or the director/producer wanting to see some titty meat.
