All my Superman memories are based onSuperman IV: The Quest For PeaceI know find out it's a 3.8 rating on IMDB. And yet all the sequels seem like lesser movies to me
>>223265696The only Superman film I saw in theaters. And yes it is superior if only they unrestricted the budget. The main villain was his most powerful opponent and had all those juicy Rocky 4 cold war references. Plus Superman legitimately got beaten and wounded seriously, unlike other movies. Here he could be killed.

Same, even as a kid I couldn't wrap my head around what went on at the end of the first one. Eventually my headcanon became, he accelerated faster than light and turned back time, but the real explanation is just cartoon physics, it's the dumbest superhero movie
I watched this and then The French Connection both for the first time recently and I'd much rather watch Superman IV. I wish they'd make a cut of with the additional unused footage.SuperMan 3 is the absolute worst film.
>>223267611Nuclear man was strong, handsome, and monster like. He was a reverse Superman that was up charged. Not even Zod was on par with him. Nuclear was as strong or stronger than Zod's big henchman, but not as stupid. Nuclear man roared, yeah, but he was smart like Lex Luthor. In a way, Nuclear man was basically like Superman's Bane.
