Is it me or the ending was trash? Why did Saul stop being in character in the last 2 episodes? The way he handled the robbery was completely out of character for him and wtf was that literal 180 to his personality in the last 15 minutes? The show was good but that ending reeks of last minute changes to the script.

His character arch wasn’t to fool everyone and ride off into the sunset to deceive more people, it was to realize that he could deceive everyone one last time to get a reduced sentence but it wouldn’t mean anything if it meant losing Kim’s respect.

But when I watched it I was constantly feeling the opposite. I often found myself HOPING they got caught. It was cool to see them pull off a major heist and stuff, but at the end of the day I found myself most excited when the DEA was close to nabbing them. In BCS, I was not a fan of Jimmy, especially when he directed so much hate towards Howard. I feel like it WAS intended to be a cautionary tale in the end, but all along the way the writers went out of their way to make the good guys insufferable and unlikable so the audience would identify more with the main characters
