The third act after Frank gets BTFO is pretty lackluster. Mechanically it makes sense that you could send the Cenobites back using the box but Pinhead stands there uttering "DON'T DO THAT" like a retard when Kirsty is messing with the box when he could just eviscerate her on the spot.

He's in poor health, and his last Cenobite novel, The Scarlet Gospels, doesn't read like his own work and is widely believed to be the work of a ghost-writer. That was the deal and everybody kept their word in the transaction. In the movie though, the Cenobites break their promise for whatever reason and go after the girl, which looks really shit and leads to nothing

You need a mind that is largely disconnected from human suffering and is just able to work on whatever task it was given, in order to work in a burn ward. You put somebody in there who feels too much and they won't be able to function
