>western movie >every character eats beans are they really this delicious and nutritious?
GOOD HEAVENS, THIS GENTLEMAN IS CONSUMING BEANS!
AYO DIS NIGGA DONE BEEN EATIN BEANS
I started eating a can of beans a day lately and it has improved my life but I think I should start cooking the raw beans from scratch, instead of having the canned beans.
Kinda, yeah. Beans are very easy to grow, and contains a lot of protein. They keep well, are cheap and easy to transport. Perfect trail food, really.
what's your favorite bean dish lads?
>>223320429Beans
>>223320429just the good old tomato beans with sausages and a loaf of bread (real bread, not shitty toast bread)
>>223320205Beans were the staple protein for peasants for most of history.
>>223320429fry chopped up bacon, add chopped onion, can of baked beans in tomatoes sauce, herbs and spices, eat with bread. pretty much what he's eating in the clip
>>223320205Beans are pretty good and a good source of fibre and protein, but you really have to cook them into a delicious sauce or they're a bit bland.
>>223320205Ay yo dis nigga eatin beans!
>>223320205I never understood this scene, why was everyone pissed off about him for eating his meal?

>>223320429i keep meaning to try the one in OP's webm
There's a trail song where the guy's boots give in, so he sings about he's just gotta eat beans and not steak for a while because he's broke due to buying new boots.

>>223323034Sorry. I can't suspend my disbelief and pretend it's American west when this faggot uses olive oil for beans
>>223320205pretty sure terrence hill himself said the beans didn't taste very good in that scene. beans in general are great though, especially in chili or soups.
>>223320205Yeah. They go very well with taco seasoning for some reason. As well as salt and pepper probably. By themselves they suck though.
>>223324319>for some reason
>>223322228Realest nigga.

>>223326976Why do the beans need to be sorted?
>>223320205Beans are cheap, easy to store, and have a lot of protein/fiber. They're good dry goods that hold up well for long periods of time.
>>223322228Mon négro
>>223327148You're sorting out the broken beans, the darkies (bad) beans, and you're making sure no rocks got into the packaging.
>>223327273There are rocks in beans? What the fuck?
>>223320429my own creation, chorizo, eggplant, lima beans, tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.let it all cook out till the tomato liquid is gone and it's become a thick sludge.
>>223327322The beans have to be pre-cooked I guess?Maybe I'll try this one of these days.
>>223327431yeah pre-cooked ones from a can. I also use canned tomatoes.also the order is kinda key, the chorizo has a lot of fat that comes out when frying it while the eggplant absorbs a lot of fat so they're a good match.
>>223327520Sounds good, thanks

>>223320685He's eating enough for like 4 men, and drank half a bottle of what looks like distilled spirits as well. Witnessing that kind of gluttony is off-putting.
>>223329259no problem I like to heat them up in a pan with a some green chillis and black pepper at the end.
>>223329447That is a small amount of beans and bread for one person, I would say.

>>223320429Garbanzo beans, if those count. I know they're not a "real bean" but I do like them. Also bean sprouts are good topping on a lot of things.
is this the thread?
>>223320205they are like rice for the west. I’m not crazy about them, unless they are dressed up in a sauce or something. There are also some kinds of it I don’t enjoy. I generally view it as filler, in meals where they want to skimp on using meat.
>>223329447It doesn't even look like that much it you do physical with all day. Plus he paid for it?
>>223329447I haven’t seen the film but doesn't he just come back from wandering a desert or some shit? Makes sense he'd be ravenous.
i really like chickpeasroasted, as a spread, baked into bread, in soup, in a salad, on pizzaso many possibilities and they're all delicious
Once the jar of dry beans I was keeping somehow got infiltrated by pests. Some fucker laid eggs at one point I suppose, possibly before I bought the bag from a farmer. I opened the jar and it was a trypophobic nightmare. Each bean was riddled with numerous holes. Stuck between the white and now green-grayish beans were a crowd of small black insects. They must have been in there for months, because they were barely moving and were likely exhausted. I instantly NOPE'd and closed the lid tight, and threw the entire thing away without a second look. Nevertheless it was so disturbing that I haven't had the appetite for beans since
>>223320205>mfw zoomers probably never even seen the entire movie or heard of bud spencer and terence hill outside of it You faggots probably can't even name the character he is playing.
