And when you strip away the 2 heavily manipulated crossover products and look at the solo movies the DCEU had an upward trajectory. MoS(660m)->WW(870m)->AM(1.1b). If you want a genuine collapse look no further than Supergirl which is the lowest grossing DC movie ever, and people want to pretend that one and not BvS is a mere “misstep”. The lesson here is really simple: focus on A-list characters, spam popular actors, and a make it good looking. For some reason Gunn has a hard time doing any of these. Lanterns really lucked out with Kyle Chandler desu, he’s masking so many of that shows faults.
