As someone who doesn't dislike an Ashley win nearly as much as most, a Taylor win is objectively the bad outcome both narratively and just for the season. Taylor hasn't done anything. She did not build relationships with the cast excluding Yash and Lala. Yash doesn't even respect her game as someone who worked with her. She didn't win comps the entire season and while you don't need comps to win big brother this stat is especially bad when the so many people have won different comps this season. She has not made any big moves this season and any moves you could give her credit for aren't even good ones. She voted out Angela instead of Dee and followed Yash's lead. She was involved in the Lyric flip but had nothing to do with that happening and it still would've went through with or without her. She ran Lalas HOH but you can argue that HOH was a failure because what did it result in? Just Chuk leaving despite the other side needing to take a shot at the icons. She is actual furniture who had nothing to do with the plot lines or narrative of the season. Ashley is a far better winner when compared to her because she did do stuff that mattered. She got Mickey the HOH takeover by tricking Rylie. She flipped the vote to save herself next to Will. She was in the main power alliance of the end game and worked with the key players of the season. Taylor winning sets a bad standard for future seasons. It tells houseguests that it doesn't matter if you do quite literally nothing all season, you just need to be so bad that you get taken to the end and then win 2 comps at the end to seal the deal. Future houseguests are going to actively be incentivized to not make moves and throw comps because it will get them far and nothing that happened early in the game matters.
