Batman v Superman has a bunch of shots that are obviously cribbing from Paul W.S. Anderson movies. Including the Batmobile chase. But I always thought the Knightmare scene was at least partially inspired by this. The hordes of helicopters in the sky overhead, the helmeted goons overwhelming the survivors, the protagonist being the last holdout.

>>223432953There are only two ways Resident Evil movies can go to be properly entertaining.Either go the full live-action anime route with all the tropes/stylistic things you find in Japanese anime.Or go the Americanized Joss Whedon quip route, Umbrella Corp are the big bad and Leon acts like Nathan Fillion/Bruce Campbell. And in both cases it should follow the source material close enough that there isn't any race swapping or stupid new self-insert characters introduced.

>>223434917I actually paid attention to the story this time and it has interesting parts, in the 5th movie they have killed all Umbrella Corp human leadership leaving nothing but the Red Queen AI in charge and Umbrella Corp now fully AI governed decides to go scorched Earth releasing all types of bioweapons at once onto the Earth's surface to eliminate all life.
