A few years ago I was super depressed and watched this movie. It inspired me to drink myself to death just like Nick Cage does in that movie. I started drinking a bottle of cheap vodka every day. After about 4 months I woke up one morning and my heart rate was 160 and my anxiety was through the roof, and I was super dizzy. It scared me and I realized I didn't actually want to die anymore, and I was just LARPing, so I stopped drinking and hoped I'd recover. After a few days, my heart rate was still at 160 and I was expecting the heart attack any day. After 40 days I felt even worse and thought I was about to die, so I finally went to the ER. It turned out I had a severe magnesium deficiency. The drinking had stripped my body of magnesium and fucked my nervous system causing my heart to go nuts. After I took the magnesium pills they gave me I felt better after a few days.

I went back to drinking a few months later, but now I only drink once a week and always take my hecking magnesium pills! Life is good. Enjoy alcohol in moderation and don't LARP as characters from movies.
