There are plenty of feature length AI animated movies on YouTube. You will probably not be surprised to learn that they are almost all dogshit. Got recommended this AI anime series a couple days ago, some dystopian Cyberpunk thing visually inspired by black American hood culture. https://youtu.be/omq9HTfxY98A neat idea, but the execution is dogshit. It uses AI for voice acting, which it sucks at, and I'd guess probably writing, which, at that point, what are you even doing? Plus, still a lot of illegible gibberish writing on background details, I thought AI had that figured out by now.I'm kinda interested in AI animation in theory, but the people currently working with it neither understand the limitations of the medium, nor have a decent enough grasp on film making as an art form to produce anything impressive. Zack London/Gossip Goblin is probably the best of the bunch on the virtue of using real voice actors and actually writing his own scripts rather than outsourcing even that to AI, he's just not a very good writer. Probably doesn't help that AI shills have made such an effort to antagonize actual artists and animators who actually know how to produce movies that most are apprehensive to ever working with the technology. Could have said "Hey, here's this interesting new technology you can experiment with, maybe you'll find it interesting" instead of "Hey, here's this magical new device that's gonna replace you, we don't need you gay nerds anymore, better write an application to McDonalds, loser!" Music and voice acting, I don't think you should use it for that but I get it if you can't afford to hire people for it. But writing? Of course, having to hire a real actor and shoot is expensive, and once you have to involve actors, cost savings from A.I. are mostly gone for most types of movies.I think animu poisoned the dataset. The look of it is great however, think of how much time and money it'd take a normal VFX team to create all of that stuff.
