Why is /tv/ pretending to be retarded about this movie?
What I don’t get is the revisionist history of /tv/ painting him as some hero of justice. No one saw him that way. When TCAP had live threads here, Hansen and his show were treated as a big meme by /tv/ and the whole internet for that matter. It was basically a comedy. Anyway, would be child fuckers deserve to be locked up but he went about it in the worst way

>>223456458The documentary Predators turned me against Hansen, seeing him whittle down the concept from 30 and 60 year olds meeting kids and catching them in the act to the point he was hounding and ruining an 18 year old’s life - who hadn’t even entered senior year of high school - for trying to meet with a 15 year old told me enough that Hansen doesn’t actually give a fuck about protecting children anymore if he did at all and just wants to humiliate and exploit whoever will give him views and money. It’s all well and good when he’s making adults and the elderly get punished but arguably children too? He’s either insane or knows what he’s doing.

threadly reminder: neither hansen or perverted justice ever has decoys pretend to be prepubescent. Thus no pedophiles were harmed by either. The reasons for this are twofold. One, no one ever talks about sex with prepubescents, thus they don't trigger "online solicitation of a minor" laws. Second, since jews believe its perfectly fine to have sex with goys under 9, posing as prepubescent would snare jews.
Movie did show him as someone with his own problems (cheating, ego, bit of narcissism) but also felt fairly sympathetic at the same time when it came to NBC pressuring him to go bigger and louder, stressing him out because they felt what he was doing wasn't enough— that pressure ultimately resulting in the colossal fuckup that was the Texas DA case.

He did the same sting operation tactics he does on adults to an 18 year old who hadn’t entered senior year of high school yet for meeting with a 15 year old but it was controversial enough he was forced to take the video of it down but he didn’t want to. He seemingly doesn’t care an 18 year old and a 15 year old is hardly comparable to fully grown adult men meeting children so long as it’s technically illegal, even though the state itself said it was ridiculous and expunged the kid’s record after the fact.
