>>223462660This is the kind of show that never needed a comeback.It was arguably masterpiece of animation, sci-fiction and comedy genres during first few seasons, then went downhill in season 4 and 5, while being pretty good show still.Then it got revived as an absolute dogshit show and was a shell of itself since then.Nothing of value was gained with the revivals, nothing of value was lost with the cancellations.Simple as that.I still cherish those first few seasons though and rewatch them occasionally as go to comfy TV.

The Comedy Central run had plenty of weak low points, but also had plenty of high points here and there too, and concluded in a satisfying way. I still enjoy some episodes on rewatch.The recent Hulu run however was mostly pretty meh, I gotta say. Even the better episodes still often had issues with pacing and characterization for me. I wouldn't say I hated it, but it definitely shows that maybe we should just let it stay dead now.
