That's why episodes were constantly delayed, John K was an autist. I think it's funny that when he showed up on that one episode of Stern in that weird ambush they did on Billy, Howard knew absolutely nothing about him, and immediately keyed in on him being really weird.

I've come to learn in recent years that people not only don't appreciate animation, but they don't even notice it. I've talked to animation students that genuinely believe that spiderverse/ k-pop demon hunters is superior to golden age classics. I wonder if it's due to being phone-brained or just being born without creativity.

The golden age masters are unmatched on pure fluidity of animation. But they often used those skills to tell asinine stories or just didn't really direct things interestingly. Action or emotional scenes often have mediocre presentation.
Like # of key frames and what you depict with them are different things.

I'm interested as to what you mean by mediocre presentation. I would argue that action scenes were better back then. As for emotional scenes, I think that the style just hadn't existed in the modern format yet in any medium or maybe just wasn't as manipulative. idk, I'd have to know what you're referring to by emotional.
