I feel like binging a show and watching it as it comes out along with everyone else who has to wait a week for a new episode are two completely irreconcilable experiences. You watched a different Pluribus than I did. You didn't have to sit around for a week of people arguing "they're eating people" "no they're not its gonna be something else horrible". You found out immediately before having those thoughts for an entire week.
Personally I think I'm done with Pluribus.

The approach in Pluribus is a distilled Vince style. We need to have long montage sequences of people doing a task while the audience goes "omg what is going oooon" with a simple conclusion-point at the end of the sequence like it's supposed to be poignant or something. This is alright when done with restraint and for emphasis but it has become bravovince's style to do it ALL the time.

The only scenario where this makes sense is for them to send a return signal to the origin for unknown reasons, either under the expectation of some guidance for the next step or to seek direct contact, because as they've said they have no connection/communication with the source and they're operating completely isolated and only within the technology humanity has available through their own shared knowledge. It's not like they can just start re-transmitting the same signal in all directions to try and spread because it was very specifically tailored to work on humans. Unless of course the writers are dumb enough to think all advanced alien life would have DNA compatible with life on Earth and imagined a magical broad spectrum not-a-virus capable of working exactly as intended on any race that 1. receives it, 2. decodes it, 3. is capable of reproducing it, and 4. is dumb enough to expose themselves to it like the retarded scientists did here.
