>>223466286Just creative bankruptcy combined with easy cash. They're awful with one exception: Cinderella with Lily James is an actual improvement on the animated original. Maleficent ruined Disney's best villain by trying to give her a sympathetic back story. So any live action remake will get a hard pass from me. Btw I got to see the animated SB in 70mm over the summer. Just a beautifully drawn film, every single frame is great.
