I don't get what Chalmer's problem is, I used to live in Albany and that's what we called White Castle burgers, because the best way to make them is thaw them in the fridge and then stick them in a steamer. At the actual brick and mortar White Castle (2 hours south in Nanuet, and in all White Castles), the hams are also steamed on top of, and from the heat of, the onions, on a flat-top, not directly cooked on the flat-top itself. So, Steamed Hams. I guess Utica's just too far from Nanuet for them to call them that there. Was that the joke? Did it go over my head?
