Campbell's way of making it somewhat funny despite wanting to kill each other was a good idea. But there's no virtue and everyone is decadent. So you don't like any of the characters. Everyone is an asshole. Still in contradiction, you like Eva Green too much. The production is good for what it is. It's a club med type of scenery and it does it that way perfectly. But like I said, you don't like any of the characters.

The movie portrays her as a mean spirited manipulator, but when you dissect them all, Samuel L Jackson's character is actually worse. The movie just portrays him as more charming, but he's still the head badguy underneath it all. The Cop is unsympathetic and a fool. The blonde guy is just the blonde guy doing blonde guy things. The cop's female partner I couldn't understand. But like I said, I watched it for Eva Green. *shrugs*
