It's also why artist characters are romanticized and perfect mary sues while bullies and villains are often athletes of some kind. Any athleticism you see in movies is unrealistic and if people think this scene is gay, it's because the filmmakers themselves were projecting their homosexuality into something they don't understand, and the audience themselves are as well.
