What are some creepy Found Footage movies?
I have seen the Blair Witch, Lake Mungo, Poughkeepsie tapes, Rec, and Hellhouse.

There was this one with OP's mom.
Absolutely horrifying.

That’s a good idea. I haven’t seen it since it was in theaters

Creep was good. What was your favorite of those?

Of those I thought [Rec] was the most thrilling, and despite half of /tv/ hating it I thought Lake Mungo was genuinely creepy. The whole idea that the daughter encountered a deadly premonition for no particular reason creeped me out for a few days. I liked the idea of Poughkeepsie Tapes, where it’s like a crime documentary but if a horror villain were real but I thought the acting in the actual documentary moments was too over the top

I saw one on Amazon that was heartbreakingly close to being great. It was about a dude doing Survivorman for real - out in the deep woods filming himself Survivormanning, when he comes across a crashed alien spacecraft. If they’d had the budget or the skill to do the alien convincingly, I think it would have been a masterpiece. I think it was called “Man Versus.” It could have been so good. It wasn’t, but it could have been.

Creep and Creep 2 are both really good.

I fucking love the Cloverfield franchise. I always forget halfway through that it's a Cloverfield movie because hey, it's actually a solid production for whatever genre it's meant to be, and then BAM! they get me every time.
