It's a clipshow that does nothing but call back to previous movies and the time travel segments aren't worth spending half the movie on. If going back in time to get the Infinity Stones from the past was the plot, have the Avengers get them from new points in time, not places we've already seen. The first half feels like they're saying "Hey, remember this?"
Endgame as its own movie doesn't truly start until Thanos' ship crashes into the Avengers compound.

It basically walks back and undos all the deaths of the previous movie. Infinite War ended with actual consequences. But Endgame makes their sacrifice meaningless.

The infinite gauntlet isn't all that powerful if you can just travel to alternative dimensions, collect different infinite stones, and make your own gauntlet.

If they wanted to revive the characters then there should have been serious consequences to doing it. Some sort of big price that needs to be paid.

Also Iron Man dying is stupid. It should have been Captain America since he's the one that constantly wants to sacrifice himself to protect others. OR have characters like Hulk or Captain Marvel do it. We literally see they are strong enough to use the gauntlet without dying.

It established the retarded genre-killing multiverse which wouldn't have mattered if it was a real finale before a hard reboot

What is the point of the Time Stone if the Avengers can time travel to undo the Infinite Gauntlet ?

I thought the whole idea was that each stone is essential and makes it permanent.

Power Stone - provides a power boost to the other stones

Reality Stone - rewrites reality and makes people disappear.

Space Stone - allows the effect cover the entire universe.

Mind Stone - allows the user to locate all sentient life.

Soul Stone - locks onto the souls of people and makes the decision unavoidable. You can't hide from a soul scan.

Time Stone - locks the timeline so time travelers cannot interfere. The gauntlet's decision becomes an "absolute point or canon event" that cannot be undone.
