My Halloween jigsaw puzzle The Spooky Shire arrived today. It's got a bunch of horror references like Gremlins, Frankenhooker, Over the Garden Wall. Can't wait to do this while playing some spooky movies.

i remember catching bits and pieces of it on tv, but i never sat down to watch it in full until earlier. it's a horror anthology with the wraparound being a 3 kids telling spooky stories in the backyard, there are 3 short stories and 2 long stories which take up a bulk of the runtime.the 1st is about a kid finding a monster at school and the 2nd is about a kid obsessed with flies, they're fine though i couldn't help but be reminded of 2 goosebumps books (the girl who cried monster and go eat worms)
