well like the other guy i saw it in a theater, multiple times even. secondly i vibed with the shitty new evil bastian way more somehow. third the tone is more straight up scary and hateful and malicious instead of 1's weird cheerful little apocalypse whatever the fuck they were going for. 2 is a straight up horror movie for kids. fourth the goofy fucking theme song has been stuck in my head for decades.
