it wasn't THAT bad
>>
Yes it was. But most importantly it was not a True Detective series.
>>
>>223573966
It started off good. I'll give it that.
>>
>>223573966
It was awful. The ending is complete nonsense.
>>
It was terrible and the payoff was rerarded as fuck but I somewhat enjoyed it while watching mostly for the comfy alaska setting and the co lead gives me the big pp
>>
The sex scenes were perfectly normal.
>>
When did the cleaning ladies find time for their spec ops training?
>>

Women can do anything and eveything better than men ok scrote??? Their ululation stunlocked the tangos, it works better than stupid male brained solutions like flashbangs and shit they never know what hit em
>>
>>223573966
It was, and you should go do a performative dance routine on a frozen lake in springtime as punishment for your shit bait.
>>
Series was always wildly overrated. This season was even worse because it's basically only TD by name. But it's not even great if you forget that it's part of TD.
>>
I don't want to watch hags that think they're still sexy
>>
>>223574572
Well if they're so damn smart, why couldn't they silence Rust's Dad's ghost from moonwalking the scientist's whereabouts and cracking the case wide open? Seems that even dead-men are better then wo-men.
>>
>>223574526
They didn't do anything really extraordinary, except that they had an uncommon level of solidarity among themselves.

Of all the things people complain about from this series, the cleaning ladies being able to pull off their specific part is the least justified. It makes a lot more sense than the cult from TD1 being able to keep their secret for decades.

It was entertaining if you've read a lot of Lovecraft/weird fiction in general, since it had a ton of themes from the genre. The old woman, Rose, might as well have said she used to teach at Miskatonic University. As a True Detective season it was pretty shit, tho.

Well what retro was HE on? Depending on the astrological alignment such influences can be impervious to countermanifestation and conventional witchcraft techniques, what can I say. Don't they teach basic stuff like these in school anzmore??

>meticulously structured framework of direct action and communication skills, efficiently carrying out a large scale personnel capture mission of (murderous) government scientists
>clear gathering of intel via recon, establishing a pattern of life for vulnerability/isolation, minimising resistance of multiple targets across an Arctic research facility (plus the secret lab)
>had to have fully mapped out all the secret lab/facility's blind spots, cameras, security threats, etc, to ensure they're not identified or caught - plus exit routes for clean extraction
>highly-skilled team coordination for rapid containment to prevent evasion, distress/audible signals and counter attacks
>grounding, subduing, securing and monitoring of personnel for a resistance-free extraction - logistical planning for necessary vehicles/weather checks and securing transfer points to prevent evasion before tactical departure
>full control over transportation risks to avoid identification/interception, hazardous weather/ice conditions
>the unloading and stripping of (murderous) targets in remote ice location, skilfully restraining panicking captive, as it becomes obvious that their duality of "fight or flight" no longer exists and they're all going to die - so counter attack/s are almost guaranteed
>remembering to bring your best black sharpie so you can mark the spiral (of Ennis' spirit) on one of the scientist's foreheads - don't forget who sent you on this mission, the spirit did.
Please do remember anon, these are Inuit grannies we're talking about. Geriatrics with sub-70 IQs, who mop floors all day and sew animal skins together in their spare time whilst cooking traditional meals. Pulling off what they did without getting caught or even counter-attacked (by 6 foot government killers in fear of their lives) is utterly fucking ridiculous.

>Fuck You Cracka the tv show.

>being able to keep their secret for decades
Which wifi blocking rock have you been under lately?
>>
>>223574736
You're not asking the right questions. I've set my tinder radius from Ennis to the ethereal plane. Rust's Dad slides into my DMs on the regular. He says Rose did nothing for him.

Well maybe they have been watching too many true crime videos on youtube and one thing lead to the other and they ran into that hunk Garand Thumb's stuff, one thing led to the other and they ended up intuiting TTPs of direct action SMUs thanks to their female intuition. In their daily work they work as a team, move as a team and well, it is a scientific fact that women communicate better. That's 66% of the move shoot communicate covered. They work under the cover of the night, and rounding up and mopping up any resistance is their job description, be it resistant coagulated blood stains on the floor or, as they have aptly demonstrated, hostile elements.

The reveal with the cleaning ladies with the native throat singing playing overtop was one of the most jarring tv experiences I’ve had. It was wild
>>
>>223575671
Rust's dad is such a rake, oh maybe he murdered HIS wife and told everyone that she ran away. It's looking like a six part true crime podcast series whichever way you cut it.
>>
we don't live in a world where it matters if something is good or not
it got viewers
it got "fake" good reviews
hbo gaslight themselves into thinking people want more based on bots on twitter
it's all so tiresome
