I liked it and appreciated that it had a logical, grounded answer for the mystery, but in the second to last episode so the final episode could be the most unhinged, nonsense shit.The scene where he's in a chase and then suddenly walks in on two people cheating as is held at gunpoint is so fucking absurd and hilarious.

by accident i watched the finale first and i loved how out of context everything was. i thought it was really daring. then i realized and watched the first episode and was disappointed.

His schizo scene when he is trying to find any way to contact the chair company on the website, him trying to ditch that assistant lady and almost getting her killed in an intersection, the entire character of that old boomer that is trying to poison the office against him. Mystery was also surprisingly engaging.

I'm happy he's getting renewed, I'll still watch season 2, but I would have preferred it to be an anthology series or something where he spoofs a different genre every season. I feel like he took this one as far as it could go. We'll see though, Tim hasn't made anything I haven't liked so far so I'm willing to give him some benefit of the doubt.

Episode 2 opens with Ron's daughter telling him that he's "so good at taking to people" and it made me laugh out loud after episode 1 showed off his social ineptitude, but then at the end of the episode, he really does talk an antagonist into changing, it works great.
