yeah, he knows hit lines and hits his mark and does his own stunts (slow clap). He’s charismatic. but every time he’s tried a real role, it’s been embarrassingly bad. Born on the 4th was cringe, near full retard cringe. The reason Kubrick took years for eyes wide shut .. cruise was just bad, didn’t get it. Interview w/a Vampire, Rock of Ages … stunk up the screen. Magnolia, tropic thunder weren’t even characters, just caricature, overblown (and, yes, funny) but not serious acting. Digger .. I kinda feel sorry for him, so obvious an Oscar bait, so totally failed. Why doesn’t he just stick to what he knows: playing himself?
