>>223576417I never watch prestige, long form television series, but for some reason I made an exception for Boardwalk Empire and I instantly regretted it. At that time, I thought to myself "Well why don't I just buy all five box sets and watch them while I'm on the USS Nimitz on deployment?" So that's what I did.Once I watched the series, this is the conclusion that I came to: Season One and Two are perfect and they will probably make you cry. Season Three (OP Picrel) was a completely pointless season because everything wound up at the status quo at the end of the season. I think the reason why the OP likes that character is because he's into autoerotic asphyxiation. Somehow, season 4 was one of the brilliant seasons, but it was so depressing. Then we got into season 5 and it sucked balls because HBO just wanted to rush the ending.
