The story's highlight surrounds the Crouch family and its backstory(which was heavily and retconned and ruined in the film), as well as Bertha Jorkins's disappearance(which was cut entirely from the film). Chamber of Secrets was also a whodunnit mystery and it translated nicely into film, there was no excuse for the Goblet of Fire to be different.
