oh WOW! i love it when big corporations merge and control even more stuff and increase their prices because there's no competition!
great!
>>
It's either that, or Disney bought their catalogues and then "vaulted them" for decades while dribbling out a handful of titles for two weeks as ransoming prices.
>>
Calm down.

Netflix lost the deal and their prices skyrocketed anyway. It's time /tv/ admits that we fell for the Streaming Scam.
>>
The goverment used to break monopolies
>>

Now it enables them

You lost tranny!
>>

I get a lifetime subscription to Paramount for $7/month with my veteran discount. That's the ONLY reason I have a paramount subscription. That deal is insane
If that goes away after the merger I'm done with steaming for good
>>
>>223578149
>veteran discount
What a joke. Someone gets to pay less because they think a costume gives them a murder pass that God will accept. lol
>>
>not using debrid services
is this board born retarded or what
>>
>>223577901
It isn’t a monopoly. There are dozen plus other streaming services and studios. That’s the problem with streaming. You need like 10 subscriptions to see shit.
>>
>>223577534
Well good news for you! Paramount has never known what to do or how to begin capitalizing on their vast library of content (which is why they've always been for sale), so there nothing to squeeze the consumer with!

This.

>be me
>want to get sports
>have to get Sling-both tiers of it, plus another
>and Amazon Prime
>games still are exclusive to Paramount +
>Root
>etc

I have zero sympathy. People were warned time and time again that having access to massive libraries of on-demand content for a pittance was a deal too good to be true but they fell for it anyway. Now they're stuck with Cable 2 that's rapidly becoming worse than Cable 1 ever was.

Physical media is the sole path forward.
>>
>>223577901
Not a monopoly
Anyone can get a camera and make a show
>Muh budget
So ? You need hundreds of millions to make something cool, kind of the opposite
>>
>>223578181
You can cry harder bitch

Here on /poltv/ we support jewish monopolies of our media and news because it owns the libs.
>>
this is not a monopoly and its not a bad thing. everything that the tech companies do is what is best for the world and for society. them owning everything is whats best for us as consumers, as are all the ai companies. i am so grateful for big tech, tech companies and all the people on 4chan who work for them.

If that was any other streaming service it would be a good deal. Paramount is so bad it's not even worth $7
>>
>>223577534
>increase their prices
nigga you still not pirating?
>>
>>223579583
Is that what you think Jesus Christ will say to you at Judgement? I doubt it since he would not say curse words. All the same, I'm not the childish "man" who wears a costume and thinks that God gives a damn.
>>
>>223578149
thank you so much for your service.
>>
>>223578149
>lifetime
>$7 a month
>a month
so either they know when youre going to die or you just mean you grandfathered in that price. when i hear lifetime i think of the ones where you pay one amount ONCE and then never again as long as you live
>>
>>223579648
*to Israel
>>
>>223577534
>streaming in 2026 when you could just download shows
Why are you "people" so dumb?
>>
>>223577534
Subscriptions are just a retard tax these days.
>>
>>223579816
>these days
I'm 36 and has never paid for a subscription service in my entire life.
>>
>>223578361
Piracy is the sole path forward. But having physical disks as backups is a smart idea, too.
>>
>>223579948
Where do you think the piracy comes from?
;)
>>
ok. and how is this my problem?
>>
>>223579969
There's a lot of webrips as well.
