This episode really did just make me rethink my whole opinion on the show. I was enjoying it up until now, knowing there would be things in the green lantern lore for this universe that I would hate. But just get shot in the chest with all of it at once in the final episode:

At least Sinestro interrogation scene was alright. The beginning of the episode proceeds as originally planned. John Stewart leaves Fear Planet™ with the corrupted lantern. He's jumped by Noah and forced to drive him to the stadium. Noah reveals his nature and compulsion to follow his programming. He's forced into contingencies as a result of self-preservation and rigged the satellites to fire on the stadium if John doesn't leave Rushville immediately.

John pretends to leave, but recites the Green Lantern oath and charges the ring. Halogram's last words are "You have no idea what Sine-". John flies to the stadium and erects a massive barrier over the field like Hal did over the motel. Lasers rain down. The fans in the stands withdraw their guns or use improvised weapons as they fight John. John's defensive constructs are green, but his sniper rifle is shimmering yellow. He takes aim at Noah and hits him in same spot where Hal was hit. He manifests an orb to isolate himself and Noah as the boy bleeds, cries, and holds his arm. The townspeople fire upon the orb and cracks begin to show. John conjures a yellow knife and the orb construct strengthens. He manifests yellow chains to bind Noah as he carves out his heart.

The heart transforms from organic to crystallized in the palm of his head. Camera pans up to John's eyes as they begin to glow yellow, and the Sinestro Corps logo is seen in his pupils.

Post-credits scene has John and Sinestro working together at the foundry. There is a sealed Manhunter healing vat with Earl on the counter next to it.
