Cruise participating in rugpull Oscar bait shit that bombs is pathetic. Get back to making normie movies please, it is not the 90s anymore.
so you want mission impossible 13 instead of something original?
>>223580479He's already making Days of Thunder 2 pal lay off
>>223580479I saw this in IMAX with two other people.

>>223580496I actually want a legend sequel
>>223580565I feel like this movie got the retard brigade shills. Like every thread it's the most blatant and pathetic attempts to get people to watch their shitty flick.
>>223580479ironic of cruise to play in a corporation satire no?
>>223580496Yes.I dont want toxic wokie original movies.
people are gonna come reevaluate this movie in 10-15 years and realize it was a masterpiece. I don't really get the hate, but maybe because no one here actually saw the fuckin movie. Yeah the movie could be funnier and Tom Cruise wasn't the absolute stand out in it, but the way this film peels back its layers is actually kino as hell.
>>223581633>but the way this film peels back its layers is actually kino as hell.I'd disagree actually. It almost gets there, but it doesn't quite clinch it. It's both the point of the movie and under emphasised, and if it had really nailed the reveal then I think a lot more people would be going to see it. As is, it's a clever gimmick, but the film almost doesn't seem to know what to do with it. The first reveal was fun, but it comes too early, with little buildup and the inbetween scenes that come from it don't really have a point. Imagine if it had happened AFTER the Europe scene, it's revealed that the whole thing, the speech, the theatrics, were all just theatre. And then the end scene, while shocking, also doesn't have enough buildup, enough hints that something's wrong, which should make you go wtf when it does get revealed. I liked the movie but there was a lot of room for improvement.
>>223581707reminds me of Asteroid City
>>223580568was it three people who went by themselves or were they friends?
>>223580611How do you find shit like this?
>>223580496>so you want something watchable instead of a bland, pretentious flickyes
This guy peaked with his first film. (The director, not Cruise)
Its predictive programming.
