First and second season are really good. Gets progressively worse from there, though most of the good stuff happens on the ship, and there's still some of that after the controversial season 3.

miniseries: kino
season 1: kino
season 2: pretty good (exception - pegasus arc is kino)
season 3: good to fine
season 4: okay, ending is fine
shits all over just about any sci-fi show released afterward though, esp. the expanse

The show peaks early with season 1 but season 2 is still pretty good. Season 3 is where the problems start and it jumps the shark completely by the end setting the stage for a crappy season 4.
