Love Boat remake when?

Crazy how shit like this and middle east conflicts exist at same time

Disney wins again baby, get fucked /tv/ as you once again lose

Disney cruise is the only cruise worth going on as reported by our queen
>>
>>223582201
Very few things are more grotesque than the Icon of the Seas. In terms of the design, it's an absolute disaster. The fucking cheap Disneyfication of the vessel is obviously going to attract the lowest common denominator, nogs taking out loans under false pretenses just so they can shit the place up, boomers and desperate thirtysomething singles and not to mention the pollution it causes with every voyage and how much it costs just to run the fucking thing.
>>
>>223582201
The love boat theme is one of my favorite songs of all time.

When I go on cruises I never leave the boat when they port. The reason I go on them is because I want to disconnect from the world and not worry about or have to do anything for a week. It's pretty comfy to wake up exercise, sauna, eat breakfast, go swimming, take a shower, take a nap, eat again see a show ect without having to get in a car and face traffic or any other real world shit for a while, you just walk around on the lido deck if you are bored till you think of what you want and it's right there. Everybody talks shit on cruises but either they never been or they are doing it wrong by getting wasted and going to the casino.

all I can imagine looking at that boat is all of the horrible accidents that could occur
>the observation deck breaks off, and falls down like five stories, crushing people on each level, before finally ending up in the ocean

I don’t get why anyone would do this. It’s a floating Vegas resort. Just go to Vegas, it’ll be cheaper and you don’t need to worry about passports and missing a boat because your connection in Atlanta got delayed. You can go buy your own cheap liquor from a gas station. And you won’t get the flu.
If the tropical destinations are the appeal, just go to those places. How much can you really absorb when you’re given 6 hours to have a peek around?

there's reasons anon
>no homeless/beggars
>no criminals (unless niggers on Carnival Cruises target you)
>no scammers
>no paperwork or luggage issues once you're onboard
>no waiting at airports
>no planes
>no dodgy taxi/ubers (unless you get off the boat when its docked, and even then, its a short period of time and you can always pair up with others who will run the gauntlet for you)
>>
>>223583945

it's the vibe. when everyone around you are all there explicitly to have a good time it's infectious and you can let loose more. i haven't been on a cruise but I have been to music festivals and it's the same idea.

As a kid I thought it would be cool to go on one of these, but as an adult, I feel like it'd just give me claustrophobia. No matter how luxurious, being on a ship for weeks on end, full of strangers, just seems super uncomfortable.

Totally wrong pal. The all you can eat buffet at Caesars Palace is $100 a person alone (worth it by the way). And any strip hotel is going to be minimum $500 a night for something mid range like the Flamingo to $1000 a night at the Palace

Yeah I don't get it. Even if you hook up with someone on a cruise there's no chance of making a lasting relationship. Because they undoubtedly live far away from you and will just disappear when the cruise is over.

I don't understand why you would go on a cruise when you can just go to an amusement park instead.

>>
>>223585190
They have amusement parks on cruises mow
>>
>>223584778
MSC or Norwegian. You'll see a lot more Med Europeans on MSC in my experience. But the ships are always busy and full. It doesn't really matter to me since I only leave my room to get food or drinks.

I don't get the hate that cruises get. It's basically a 3-4 star hotel room on the ocean. But a balcony is a must. That's the whole appeal to me is being on the balcony with the ocean wind breezing, catching up on some reading and having some drinks.

>>223584658
Most people only go on for 4-7 days at max. Few do those week long cruises.
>>
>>223585221
Sane people don't spend weeks in 3-4 star hotel complexes. How do you not understand that?

>>223582201

>>223585229
>Sane people don't spend weeks in 3-4 star hotel complexes
Did you read my post? Most people on cruises only go for 3-7 days. The most numerous itineraries the cruise lines offer are under 7 days. Only retired boomers go on for longer than that and even then it's rare. They only do week long cruises a few times a year when transposition

Where did you get this idea that cruising is a "weeks long" experience? It's a short term stay a few days at most. That's how they make the most money.

>>223585259
Being on a boat vs a building is not the same experience. And it's actually cheaper because it's all inclusive.
>>
>>223585285
The industry average is between 7-10 days depending on the region, actually. I know you're probably not very smart given your stated leisure preferences but at least slap that in Google before looking like a fool.
>>
>>223583309
See I thought that was going to be fun, then after the fourth day of my Alaskan cruise I started to realize I was getting really fucking bored. If you're going to do a cruise that lasts longer than a week it needs to have stuff to do on board besides eating and lounging.
>>
>>223585306
Again, how is that "weeks"? What are you even arguing about here? You know nothing about cruises. You unironically think people stay on a boat for weeks without getting off. A 7 day itinerary will have at least 4-5 port locations where you get off and explore. Most of the time on ship is spent sleeping or eating.
>>
>>223584763
There are different brands of cruises, most of which are far less ghetto than carnival. He's probably talking about a princess tier cruise line.
>>
Is it likely that staff will catch you if you smoke on your balcony? I heard balconies are technically non-smoking
>>
>>223585335
> >7 day average
>how is that weeks?
I'll hit you with this one as well because you've clearly been upset by my assessment of your character: sane people don't spend days in 3-4 stat hotel rooms either. especially not for thousands of dollars so they can read on a balcony.
>>
>>223585343
You can get away with it after like 10pm I find.
>>
>>223585221

Why would you spend thousands of dollars to not leave your room except "to get food and drinks"?
>>
i build these ships ama
>>
>>223585412
Are you like a nautical engineer?
>>
>>223585362
Many cruises are relatively cheap for the value you get. If you just want to sleep, eat, and relax for a week you can easily find total packages in the 1000 dollar range. To people that just want to relax and do nothing else, this can be a very appealing deal.
>>
>>223585422
i'm a mechanical engineer, took some marine engineering courses but they were pretty broad stroke entry level ones.
>>
>>223585432
And go on those carnival cruises? I'd rather stay at home.
