The annoying niggress isn't the main girl of the film, a fun psycho redhead qt is. Characters like the Punisher and the Hulk are well utilized - this is the first time in many years that the Hulk isn't just a joke. Serious moments are not ruined by jokes and quips. The movie is actually about something (depression) rather than just being a collection of fight scenes.
