Yeah, it's better than the first movie.
>>223584335I tried watching it again recently. It's nothing in comparison to the first one. I didn't even finish it
>>223584335I like that it's one of the few instances where a director helped a flat-out parody of his first film. Usually these franchises don't start getting silly until maybe the 4th or 5th sequel, and it's never under the same writers and directors.

The original sucks. It's just half an hour of screaming after an hour of running in the woods.
>>223584335I have to admit I saw the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I was a kid and even then I thought it stunk. I am sure if you watched it in a theater in the 70s it probably was a different experience, but you got a very slow opening and a very slow ending with that dinner scene. 2 is a whole different movie but its actually more enjoyable. Dennis Hopper I think said it was the worst movie he ever made though. lol
>>223584335I love both but they're very different movies (and no I didn't get my opinion from a beery midwestern youtuber.)
The most sickening thing in this movie is the guy who's always spitting. Fuck that guy. Chop Top is based though.
I prefer 2 in terms of rewatch. I wouldn't say it's better than 1, but it does its own thing quite well instead of just trying to recreate the original.
LET'S HAVE A PARTY THERE'S A FULL MOON IN THE SKYIT'S THE HOUR OF THE WOLF AND I DON'T WANNA DIEhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z7qD_eUVY4
literally a year ago everyone loved TCSM og, now shills are pretending it's the worst dogshit ever made. wtf happened bros
It’s not better than the first, it’s different, but in a great way. It’s one of the best “1-2 combos” in Horror cinema history. The OG is visceral and intense, while the sequel is absurd horror comedy at its finest.
>>223585086Nothing happened. This board is just full of contrarian nigger faggots who like to stir the pot unnecessarily in order to fuck with decent conversations.
>>223584449Not really, but ok.
>>223584428This and Gremlins 2 are in a league of their own
>>223585014I love this scene because it implies this bridge is like 5 miles long.
