It got better in the 2nd half. Fun movie, but i see where the Poltergeist rip off accusations came from

Some say:
>Just get a real sound system!
>works on my soundbar!

No, it doesn't. /tv/ lied about that. If you can't understand what they're saying out of your TV's regular sound, you will still not be able to hear what the fugg they're saying with even the nicest soundbar + woofer system.

just use the closed captions bro
ive been doing it for almost three decades now
>>
>>223588931
I thought the first half was the better part
>>
>>223589228
That's all good and fine until they are non-existent. Then there are time where it would be nice not to have text on the screen.
>>

>until they are non-existent.
almost every form of media today has the ability to allow closed captions. streaming, dvd, even VHS.
nowadays you can even make them whatever size or font you want to minimize covering the media.
>>
>>223589404
Yes and I'm telling you sometimes they refuse to work. It depends on the media and the media players, sometimes it's all the fault of whoever encoded it.

sucks to be you then

The story of all anons at one time or another.
Just be careful what you wish for.
>>
>>223589252
I meant the audio. Dialogues in the 1st half were impossible to understand sometimes. In the 2nd they talk clearer

Can AI dub a film in real time?
>>
Insidious does not hold up on a rewatch, I saw it when it first released and remembered it being better

>trying to watch what's going on
>words constantly flashing at the bottom of the screen

I tolerate subs as a necessary evil for foreign films, otherwise they're distracting and tacky
>>
>>223587476
is this the same movie where the dad gets into a fistfight with a tough guy ghost who wears a leather jacket
>>

>Poltergeist
Overrated trash, only good scene is the chairs

skill issue

Revelation that the construction firm only moved the gravestones, fallowed by the total corpse chaos at the end was cool
>>

Just wait for the next jumpscare.

Even more kino when you realize that all of the skeletons-all of them-are real.
>>
>>223591225
All horror movies (besides very rare true kino) are much better when you watch them at an age younger than 25.
>>
>>223591237
You cannot be this stupid
This has to be a joke
>>
>>223587476
Couldn’t believe how shit this was

Kino soundtrack you have to admit. If kids trick or treated in my neighborhood I would blast it on Halloween
>>
>>223591237
>can't read the subs in a half-blink

Stick to cartoons boyo
>>
I just don't find any horror movies scary anymore. If the monster, if its present, just kills you right away then thats a pretty easy deal, you just die. Itll hurt but theres an ending to it. On the other side "hell" and other perpetual states of torture just seem outlandish.
