Too bad Seattle sucks in every conceivable way.
Just watching "Harry and the Hendersons" makes me sad for what this state has become.
>>
Frasier is probably the most iconic “Seattle show” yet 99% of the show was shot in california, even outdoor pieces. The only episode actually shot in Seattle was the episode where Frasier has his 1000th radio show.

OY VEY ANOTHER SHOAH
>>
>>223590427
It will stick around because the slick ads make it sound like if you vote against it that it will take away billions from schools, firefighting, you name it, and people will fall for it and vote the way the corrupt governor wants.

Also, Olympia has legislators that openly admit that this is just a first step and that the income tax will be for everyone soon enough.
>>

>>
>>223590368

>>
>>223590497
It's illegal in the state constitution, so of course they (((you))) want to ram it down our throats using the ol' "it'll only affect richies" lie.
That same lie was used for the federal income tax and everyone knows that everyone has to pay that, except for the rich like Bezos who pays exactly zero income taxes because reasons.

>>
>>223590641
The ads have text regardless of muting. Yeah, I watched the ad and it helped me realize how despicably evil its supporters are because they're willing to lie to get their way, yet again.

Yes, that makes me so uncool. Oh man my life is ruined because you know that I watched an ad, but you, no you have never seen one in your life since you're perfect.
Hypocrite.

yes because no one lies in politics ever. That's why everyone says Seattle is half burned down, full of ANTIFA thugs, full of acid attacks, etc. You found the one instance of lying to push a political agenda and took a stand. Good job retard lmao.

Kinos on democracy being evil?
>>
>>223588069
Seattle is it’s own special brand of completely worthless retard. The people are rude and full of themselves. The weather is atrocious. The traffic is somehow the most nightmarish in the country. And everyone is god awful ugly.
>>
>>223588095
Seattle is a classic shithole-that-looks-great-from-5000-feet-in-the-air
>>
>>223590929
>The traffic is somehow the most nightmarish in the country.

Cinema fare speaking to stolen funds to pay for a third summer house for legislators? The roads are never fixed. Never. I-5 has potholes that will swallow a motorcycle....and they will never ever be fixed, yet the taxes keep going up and up and up and up.
>>
>>223588316

>>
>>223590884
Seattle's problem, like many popular cities, is it's filled with people who are there for work and don't plan on settling down because they are just moving to Seattle for the job or are priced out of ever owning anything. They don't vote, don't participate in civics at any level. This means the few people who are interested in how the city runs are either vocal political extremists or NIMBYs who want to preserve their status. I lived in Seattle for 10 years. It honestly wasn't that liberal of a place, but the majority of people just didn't care enough to get involved, especially considering the leftist groups commonly used intimidation and physical violence to get their way. If you stick around long enough you end up moving to Bellevue eventually. For PNW movies I recommend "The Parallax View"
>>
>>223591211
>They don't vote,
If that were only true....but no, it's people there not paying taxes voting to increase taxes.
Otherwise I agree with you for the most part.

>For PNW movies I recommend "The Parallax View"

I'll check it out. Thanks!
>>
*its
Btw the state's full.
>>
Interestingly, two Stallone movies are based in seattle: Assassins and Get Carter.

Isn't Cobra set in L.A.?
>>
>>223591242
Yeah there is definitely a plurality of voters with no stakes (either transplants or just perma broke deadbeats) voting for stupid politicians and their dumb ideas. I lived in Magnolia and in Ballard on Sunset Hill. All my neighbors were pretty normal people but if you brought up problems in the city they'd go quiet real quick. Like they just didn't want to have an opinion on the stuff outside of their little neighborhood streets. During COVID they were all putting "In this house we believe...." Signs in their lawns like jews painting lamb's blood above their doorway. Those cheap signs were so ratty after a couple of years but no one dared remove them. Ukraine war was a miracle for a lot of them, they could replace the BLM signs with Ukraine signs!
>>
>>223588373

>>223588039
Ive been watching X-Files and Twin Peaks, and 90s PNW is such a kino setting. I know it has nothing to do with Seattle specifically, but ook ook ook nigga
>>
>>223591409
>During COVID they were all putting "In this house we believe...." Signs in their lawns

LOL that just tells intruders that the people inside are weak. And yeah, I've known the types. They're nice enough, on the surface. Some are actually nice, but I refuse to discuss politics with anyone anymore in this state. Too many people just can't handle it.
>>
>>223588039

Genuinely curious what you’d do if someone with a mental illness was deluded into committing a crime, let alone murder. I get this board wants mass death of black people but what about mentally ill whites or gentiles.
>>
>>223591526
Infuriating because he's not insane, just evil, he's already laughed about it and will kill again.
Imagine being that husband and not doing something on the spot.
>>
>>223591548
>hmmm what should we do with homicidal drugged out psychos who murder people?
Yeah it’s a real hard problem
>>
>>223591548
In WA, it's real simple, if you're black, you can say you're insane and it's an instant get out of jail card. I don't want mass death to anyone; I just want equal treatment under the law, but diversity quotas say no to common sense.
>>
>>223591585
How about we just physically remove psychotic drug addicts from society? Seems to work in every functioning country on earth but for some reason because of “The Jewish Science” we let these people just wander around menacing the public
>>
>>223591612
All I ask is that anyone who murders someone, insane or not, be incarcerated for the rest of their lives, but that's not good enough for the reasons you mentioned. Now, the Supreme Court of WA State has said that people who are under 21 cannot do life in prison, even if they murdered people and there's no death penalty, so evil has won here.
In WA, you are your own cop.
>>
>>223591526
Seattle has 700k people, crime is inevitable with those numbers. Seattle doesn’t even crack the top 10 for violent crimes per capita.
>>
>>223588039
How is the filmmaking scene in Seattle?
>>
>>223591953
Bad. Everything costs too much and the police can't guarantee anyone's safety. In fact, the police go out of their way to blame innocent people for when they are hurt or killed.
Seattle is basically Haiti with rain, if you're not super rich.
