Why the fuck was filonislop shilled to hell and back, and yet this actually comfy and adventurous show never given a single thread. We're they embarrassed at having accidentally made something good?
>>
Because RKA is audience repellent.

dead brand

It completely bombed

I did my best to tell people how great Jude Law was in it

If this had been the only thing Disney had made since they purchased the brand, it probably would have been vastly popular. As it was, almost nobody was willing to give it a first viewing. Skeleton Crew couldn't get traction because Acolyte and Ahsoka and Solo and the sequel trilogy, were crap, and because Mandalorian could have left on a high but instead decided to milk it until became a joke.

Why, though? If it was General Fatigue's fault, they wouldn't be ejaculating over the shitty Maul toon. Did people just drop it because of the not!Earth suburban setting of the first episode?

And because Star Wars became what it is for being a fantasy epic.
They failed at that, so people are not going to show much interest in deviations.
The sequel trilogy HAD to be good for people to care about whatever came after, its the only thing that mattered, and instead they gave a lesson in how not to manage a franchise.

Solo was actually okay imo, it just had a couple of senior moments.
This just makes me hate DisneyWars even more

Its running purely on vibes, the narrative is written as dumb as possible with strange morals and priorities and feels like it belongs in a different scifi universe that's been tacked on to the Star Wars brand. Its better than the other Disney Star Wars movies but only because it may as well be unrelated.

I mean, that kinda IS the feel of authentic star wars spinoffs. Go back and read some of the early EU material, and it's like people are using the settings as a playground for whatever fantasy pulp happens to be in vogue.
Reverse Peter Pan is a much more appropriate tonal fit than whatever was going on with the fat gay celebrity wedding in the Kenobi show (or was the mandalorian... Who cares at this point)
>>
It's impossible to get anyone to watch any of the little bits of Disney Star Wars that are actually good. The ST did far too much damage

Fucking insane I genuinely thought this was a fingerbox meme, just googled it and this shit actually came out. When? How? The level of anonymous Star Wars slop getting dumped on streaming is incredible
>>
The extended SW universe fundamentally doesn’t make sense. Star Wars is a story about rebels defeating an empire. Anything outside of that detracts from it.
