Who won?
The fat guy homeless looking guy who got kicked out of the theater for jerking off during the movie when I saw it. Everyone in the theater clapped when he was ejected.
>>223590781did he cum?
>>223590739>Who won?everyone who saw the deleted sex scene
The movie lacks real catharsis cause he was just supposed to kill the guy and be done with it. It makes for a good spectacle but the point is that you cannot undo what happened. Arguably maybe the killer won in the end cause he still inflicted such a deep wound upon the prtotag that will never heal.
>>223590821I didn't ask, sorry. I should have yelled "DID HE CUM" to the security as they escorted him out. >>223590890Isn't it as simple as revenge bad and don't gaze into the abyss and all that jazz? I don't think there's any deeper meaning than that. It has a bunch of really well done scenes. The knife attack in the car is kino.
>>223590739I first watched this movie as a double feature with Martyr's at a friends house, it was some of the few foreign kinos i watched and branched out from there but looking back i think he wanted me to fuck him, which i only realized years later.
>>223590739Byung-Hun won in the end and made Sik's character break his uncaring facade, but he obviously should have just killed him after the first torture sesh. Dragging it out got more people close to him hurt.
>>223590781why are there like three scenes of the kid beating off in 'Burning'?
>>223590890>The movie lacks real catharsisThat's the point retard.
>>223592946Its the phantom pain of movies then?I didnt care for the gorefest. The chaser with the crime boss and parasite are 2ay more entertaining films.
>>223593698I Saw the Devil is a simple tale of revenge gone wrong. The first time he gets his hands on him is very cathartic and we're rooting for him but his revenge is to toy with the killer which makes things worse for everyone. Both their families are dragged into it and suffer immensely. I wouldn't say its even revenge bad, the story is that the hero's brand of vengeance utterly corrupts him and turns him into a monster too. The lesson is to get your mark and enact justice, no messing around.
>>223593698>I didn't care for the gorefestWhy'd you watch it then? It's a violent gore movie. That's the appeal. Also Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, JSA, Thirst, Memories of Murder, and a bunch of other 2000s Korean movies I'm forgetting are better than The Chaser and Parasite.
