why do people love this so much?
>why do people love the gangster flick with boobies and violence?
It's a good film is why. Glad you asked.Dolts use it as a life guide.
>>223591932its funny, i like watching the edited for tv version.
An underdog becomes a titan and then loses it all to the same qualities that allowed him to rise to the topEveryone identifies with Tony when he has nothing. Everybody feels sympathy when he kills his boss. Everybody sympathizes with him losing it all because he refused to kill kids. Everyone feels sad that he killed his best friend because of his machismo. Everyone likes that he goes down against infinite odds with no fear
>>223591932People enjoy it for being a good movie. "People" (criminals) overrate it as the best movie ever because it is their fantasy (they tell themselves the downfall wouldn't happen to them or that it's a better way to go).

I wasn't keen on it. I was expecting something like The Godfather or Goodfellas, since it's usually placed in the same category, but it's much more cartoonish than those films. I also think it marks the point where Pacino stopped being a real actor became the "HOOHAH ASS TO ASS" man.
>>223591932because it's epic
>>223592101Scarface destroys Gayfellas.I like both films, but truth is truth.

Tony's sister was hotter in the original.
>>223591932It's my favorite film, kys.

Scarface is a lot of fun to watch while drinking and doing coke. Alone.
>>223592230Based. Did you know that it had an intermission right after Tony looks up at the blimp and before the money counting scene montage? It was 15 minutes long.
