It didn't know what it wanted to be. There were fun parts where he's doing Superman stuff and then there are just slogs where it's shitty teen drama. Trying to do Superfamily was just a mistake. I was even ok with him being a bit swarthy and not quite the right look because he had the Supes optimism and attitude. Just stop with trying to make Superman into an ensemble thing.
