This is not up for debate

Future War is my favorite bad movie

Now that TV doesn't exist outside of old folk's homes, how are we to see these kinos?
>>
>>223594696
RiffTrax is better. Same concept but no stupid sketches.
>>
I used to have final sacrifice as #1 but nowadays it's space mutiny
>>
>>223594954
Gizmoplex. There's a couple of those streaming channels that are like TV channels that just run episodes. I have one set uo on my kodi box. But I also just downloaded all the episodes.

>>223595047
>no stupid sketches.
You're probably a Mike guy then. I like Joel more because he didn't take being retarded so seriously. Never was a big fan of rifftrax.
>>
>>223594696
I would swap Werewolf with Manos, but beyond that, I'll agree with you.
>>
>>223594749
Donald "Room Clearer" Pleasence makes my top 5.
>>
>The movie is actually good
>>
>>223594954
They have multiple 24/7 streams running at any time on youtube, and a 24/7 channel running constantly on smart TVs.

Sadly, the chat isn't as lively as it once was when it started. You would occasionally see Spoony pop up in there.
>>
>>223595114
>missed my chance to watch MST3K with the Spoonman
Damn.
>>
>>223595165
You didn't miss too terribly much. It would consist of him doing bad riffs, and ignoring anyone who actually tried to say hi to him.
>>
>>223594696
Werewolf should be #1
>>
>>223594696
>Pod People not in the top 5
opinion discarded
>>
>>223596110
It's one of those episodes where the movie is funny enough on its own, and the riffs are nonstop bangers. The running gag where the villain's hair is constantly changing from scene-to-scene kills me.
>>
>no giant spider invasion
not gonna make it
>>
>>223594851
Oh and no redemption by the way.
>>223595092
>no stupid sketches
>a Mike guy
not that anon but that describes me to a T
>>
>>223594696
I don't remember Merlin's Shop as much as I do Overdrawn At The Memory Bank, so that gets #4
>>
> Le quirky chungus noiseover old movies half hidden with a shit overlay.
Whose Line Is It Anyway does it better.

I like the anti-movies, like The Creeping Terror and Monster A-Go-Go.
>>
>>223594696
Mans the Hands of Fate is such an ugly, aimless mess that riffs can't save it. I find it unenjoyable.

>>223594723
Future War is my favorite as well, followed by The Final Sacrifice
>>
>>223596485
"Things" is the greatest anti-movie of all time.
>>
>>223595084
For me, they’re tied.

>>223595047
For anyone who’s never seen it, track down “Mad Movies.” It’s a bunch of improv comics seated in a theater with microphones ad-libbing dialogue to old movies. It’s not always good, but when it is, it’s fucking fantastic.

Alright this is bugging the hell out of me, but when did they FIRST show the Coily short? Because it's referenced constantly, but its "official" inclusion wasn't until the final season, 10.

This short was legitimately funny on its own right, when dude learns the ways of spring appreciation, and he's hanging out with his buddies constantly talking about springs, and they're just like "If this nigga doesn't shut up..."
>>
>>223594696
Solid top 5. I'd also nominate
>Horror at Party Beach
>Wild Rebels
>Girl With The Gold Boots
>Riding with Death
>Overdrawn at The Memory Bank

the Coleman Francis movies are an amazing replication of a sensory deprivation chamber experience

>Francis died in California on January 15, 1973, only nine days before he would have turned 54. Though arteriosclerosis is listed as the official cause of death, Cardoza says Francis' body was found in the back of a station wagon at the Vine Street Ranch Market with "a plastic bag over his head and a tube going into his mouth or around his throat".

Terror from the year 5000 and Track of the Moon Beast are amazing also, they have some of the best riffs ever
>>
>>223596671
lol
>>
>>223601995
I always get "Track of the Moon Beast" and "It Lives By Night" mixed up. Which one has "California Lady"?
>>
>>223602151
Track has The Band that played California Lady and It has the porn moustache.
>>
every time i mean a mst3k fan i like to tell them that the santa claus movie is actually considered a classic amongst millennials, gen x'ers and boomers here in mootxico
>>
>>223603174
Is that actually based on some weird Mexico folklore, or was it a bunch of made up bullshit?

Like the thing where there's kids helping him instead of elves, Santa locked in an endless Spy vs Spy struggle with the devil, living in a castle in the sky instead of the North Pole, Merlin essentially being Santa's Q, and Santa turning to dust in sunlight like Dracula?

Or was it that he would be stranded on Earth, and he can't eat Earth food? I can't recall the details there, just that it's bad if he's still out after morning.
>>
>>223594696
>Mitchell not on the list
I'm afraid it is up for debate
>>
>>223603293
complete made-up nonsense
the struggle with the devil was added i assume simply to not take away the catholic/christian aspects of christmas by depicting santa claus
yes he can't eat earth food so he'll starve if he's stranded on earth, apparently he eats "clouds"
>>
>>223602151
This 45 record version of California Lady is amazing and different than the one played in Track.
