this was supposed to be a kids movie? scared the shit out of me
>>223595328I always laugh at how little the parents seem to care about their son. The part where he's still trapped in a wooden figure and potentially dead forever, but they laugh and congratulate Ernest on beating the troll like it's no big deal
>>223595328I watched this a year or two ago with zero nostalgia and loved it, the intro is probably the greatest opening for any Halloween production
>>223595408i forgot about the intro with all the old school horror clips. kino
>>223595328>scared the shit out of methat's because you are a little faget
I prefer Ernest Gets AIDS
Miak?
>>223595457Spoiler this shit
CUZ WE'RE THE OTTOMANS, AND YOU'RE NOT
>>223595457i bet you thought i couldn't find any this time of year...
scariest part of the movie imo
A Halloween tradition at my house
good movie but it was full of cornball stuff like pic related and the food fight in the woods with the bullies
>>223595495Deven?
>>223595821?
>>223595821Michael?
>>223595886TED?
>>223595452The prequel Ernest Gets GRIDS was better.
>>223595942It's actually GERD
>>223595935>WHERE'S THE GODDAMN CORKSCREW
>>223595948Ernest gets Heartburn
>>223595981Enest get ipad
>>223595441Varney is best when he's mugging at the camera.
>>223596352i remember when rimshot was turned into a doll it looking very weird. like i couldn't tell it was a dog but looked more like a turtle. poor rimshot, that shit was sad when ernest felt so lonely at the end
>>223596352this dog is probably dead now
>>223595785Kys
>>223595630for me it was when the troll was under the girl's bed.
Ernest Goes To Jail was his best work, it was just really funny. I think this was his second best work though and the theme music was very catchy
HOW ABOUT A BUMPER SANDWICH BOOGER LIPS
>>223596596kek
>>223595328Classic kino
>Ain't no trees in Botswana. I know, im a Botswanian lumberjack and I aint never had no job
>>223596532seems a bit extreme, faggot
>Top Ten Most Powerful Anime Transformations
>>223595351That's just the boomers though
>>223596509>34 years oldeven rimshot's kids are dead now, unfortunately :(
the dude on the right kinda scared me in this movie too...
>See a picture of a Dinosaur>Get sad because that Dinosaur is probably dead now
>>223596418AINT NOTHING IN THAT TREE FOR ME
>>223595328I showed this to my GF the other day now she has a total crush on Ernest. Im worried bros.
>>223596418i can't find a good pic of it but the doll didn't really resemble a dog at all
.........
why does the entire neighborhood hate Ernest except some kids?
>>223596871because Ernest is extremely negligent and destructive. I imagine half the population has had property that Ernest has destroyed. He probably owes the town millions in damages
>>223596822
>>223596931>Does more damage in this scene than the rings for all of Lantern s1Grim. Me and my brother still bring up electroman today
i like when he's turned into a garbage cube in the garbage truck
I miss old TV culture so much, it's so sad watching it vanish. The Ernest movies were fun but what really made him such a memorable character is he was just constantly showing up everywhere. You'd be watching your local channel news for your town and the anchorman you've probably seen in person before down at the donut shop would show up on TV like "And we've got Ernest here at our local cider mill to help show off the pumpkins St. Mary's middle school kids carved for Halloween!" and he'd mug a few shots for the camera and say "Knowhutimean?", he was just like indelibly present in our living rooms. Kermit the Frog, Mister T, Alan Thicke, Dolly Parton.. cable TV was a rabbit punch, and on demand streaming was a reaper's scythe to this world we'll never have again.
>>223597319yeah, i don't really know what is the closest thing we have to Ernest in recent times.
>>223597319I got my first car from a dealer Jim advertised forhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTFxsTvJ53I
>>223597556i kinda had this reaction when someone closed a door on my fingers. it was the driver while i was in the back seat (i was retarded and had my arm out his door for some reason). i just politely asked him to open the door before i reacted to the pain
Are they EVER going to release that Jim Varbey documentary, The Importance of Being Ernest? They finished filming it loke 2 fucking years ago
>>223597319it's called a "forced meme" and they're everywhere
>>223597341Probably Deadpool, or any of the old infomercial guys.
>>223597556What type of car?
>223599574>retarded zoom stumbles into thread
>>223596931Forgot how comic bookish the guard uniforms were in that movie
I guess we'll never have an ernestesque phenomenon again. Everything is too segregated into micro communities. Some guy making a funny regional commercial would never be able to become a medium movie franchise
>>223599777can't make prison too scary (even though they are still pointing automatic weapons at him. that's okay)
