Why is Hollywood so obsessed with "girlbosses" and empowering female characters to the point of making them insufferable?
>>
>>223600221
Women spend money
>>
>>223600256
This. Plus, women start to think fiction is real if you repeat something often enough. It's why women are starting to believe they can win fistfights against men.
>>
i like strong women because i've had sex before
>>
>>223600221
They get easy Blackrock money if they tick these boxes.
>>
>>223600221
They believe we can't have kind female characters because kindness is weakness.
>>
You should question why western writers think a strong female is just a man when they could be creating femme fatales instead.
>>
>>223600221
Esg unironically
Which in turn is rooted in the same logic behind occupational forces setting up democratic societies for women post ww2
>>
>>223600256
But outside a handful of exceptions most of these don't make money
>>
>>223600221
I think audiences just like girlbosses. Notice how the Supergirl movie had way bigger buzz compared to the Superman movie last year.
>>
>>223600320
Do kind women exist
>>
>>223600397
The point is continual inflation of the money supply, not an even exchange of money for quality products.
>>
>>223600221
Insecure feminists infected the studios, that's why. They hate men and will subvert every piece of cultural or fictional lore they can get their hands on.
>>
>>223600459
Yes, but rare. That's why it's in women's best interests to have men think it's far more common for women to be kind and feminine. Makes tricking them into marriages a lot easier. Ironically, grrlbossing and cunting out every feminine woman boys grew up with saving from villains will help men more than ever avoid divorce rape.

>>223600221
They need to correct past wrongs and update girl characters that were once pure support and make them better than the main guy

Can't be a misogynist or sexist millenial if you empower women and let women do whatever they want whenever they want. Same operating procedure as dealing with blacks. Hell, maybe they'll even see the millennial male as such a non-threat they'll even have sex with him.
>>
I genuinely think the way female characters have been portrayed in media for the past 10 years is more damaging to women than they way they were before 4th/3rd wave "feminism". I've been reading a lot of kids books to my daughter and almost every single one has a silly male lead who is competent and charming while the female lead is just constantly like "No! You're not silly, you're stupid and irresponsible you have to be a real hero like me, right now, saving the day!" Like what the fuck is that? We're teaching girls they can't have fun? They have to be boring and demanding? Men are completely incompetent without them? How is that any better than "woah she kicks ass AND she's sexy?! I'm going to start whooping in the audiende!"

A working female means she doesn't make babies that's all there is to it.

Yeah, it's a two pronged attack. Empower women and emasculate men. Women are easier to manipulate and control when you treat them like women and nothing else. Weaken men and put women in their places so you can easily bump women aside when they get in your way. I remember my pastor gave a great talk about this going on in media about the emasculation and humiliation of the father in the household in media. On Fathers Day none the less.
>>
Insufferable women suppress birthrate.
>>
>>223600221
Yeah, we need strong men, like the ones who complain princess peach emasculated them in a kids movie! I want THAT role model for our future humanity

>Women spend money
On fashion, makeup and jewelry.

It's Marcusian demoralization. If your male population is beaten down and depressed you won't rise up against totalitarian take over.

It is known
>>
Like seriously, if you're at a point that you're arguing the way for a man to feel more confident is by policing how female characters behave in kids movies, you've officially put confidence or "morale" out of your own reach and given strangers power over it. Kids surrounded by such people are the only ones who would seriously look to mario as a role model for lack of better options
