It's like the people writing it wanted to write The Wire instead of a comic book show.
It was good. Glad it didn't turn into a Marvel CGI fest for the finale and stuck to its tone. I didn't like the resolution of the blackmail arc. I thought there was gonna be a curveball and John's brothers were gonna betray him and take his money. Just giving the money to the blackmailer seems off to me, same as John just getting along with his family.
The writer's are either race-obsessed retards or ashamed to be writting a super hero show. It's getting cancelled.

Overall it felt satisfying and heartfelt.But then there's also I notice it has the typical mkultra supersoldier mind control /mass shooter programming. Shows like this implant a militaristic mass-shooter alter personality in the viewers.

i bring this up every other Lanterns thread, but The Flash (1990) is how you do it.it's unashamedly a TV show with a case-of-the-week. it's 'dark' because the Tim Burton Batman was popular, but it's also about a guy dressed in red actually using his powers AND solving crimes. sometimes it's a rapist, other times it's robots, or a guy dressed as a clown.pretty bizarre opinion that a Green Lantern show shouldn't be about a Green Lantern using his powers, whatever 'it's more like a Western!' spin you put on it.

John won't be able to carry the show on his own.Maybe they'll try doing a Guy/John season and have Hal revive at the end of it but I guarantee you he is coming back.
